Frequent gargling with 1 teaspoon (5ml) of salt added to 1 cup (235ml) of warm water, or frequent gargling with teas of echinacea, goldenseal, or juniper berry is helpful. As an alternative, try gargling with 2 tablespoons of (28ml) of apple cider vinegar in water. Gargle every hour initially, then every three hours as you feel better. This is good to soothe strep throat and a home remedy for the complications of strep throat.
Try a herbal spray that’s available at natural food stores. Use one that has anti-inflammatory and antiseptic herbs like propolis, echinacea, and myrrh.

True strep throat can be spread from a pet dog or cat. If you are getting strep throat on a frequent basis, have a vet check your pet and make sure it does not have strep. If they do have it, and are treated for it then you might stop getting it so often.
Once an hour take three alfalfa tablets and every third hour add 100mg of vitamin C. Start this regimen in the morning and conclude it in the evening. If not better the next morning, repeat it for a second day to evening. If not better after that, consider seeing a physician for the possibility of a diagnosis of strep throat.
