There is no special diet advisable for hiccups. However, it is advisable to avoid hot and spicy food as they can irritate the lining of the esophagus.
Do not load your digestive system by unnecessary eating. Although hiccups are not a severe medical problem, it is advisable to see a doctor if they last for more than 24 hours
